Finished the Nei Gong system!

Today is a big day for me, both in a training perspective but also in a spiritual way. I began practicing Tai Chi Chuan almost exactly 10 years ago. I still remember my first session very well! The first time I met Saar and how he were looking for me on the hill in the city park. My first movements in the long form and how soar my legs were after my first minute of fixed step. I remember one of the first questions Saar asked and answered to the group. “Why do we train? To become better versions of ourselves.” It was a session the changed my life as I knew it and it set me on a life long journey. This journey have taught me so much these last 10 years and it’s like one of these “the gift that keeps on giving”-thing. Just amazing!

Well today was a milestone in this life long journey when I finished the Nei Gong system of our style. I learned the first part about 9.5 years ago and today I was taught the last part. I am very proud of myself. A lot of energy, time and disciplin have been put in to this (not with a goal in mind, just to become a better version) and now it goes full circle. It’s not in anyway some kind of ending or final goal that I’ve reached. It’s just a new beginning. Thanks to everyone I’ve met along the way, thanks to my lovely family who always support me and thanks to my teacher and friend Saar for opening so many doors!

Moving on…
